JACK LEACH HAS BEEN RULED OUT OF THE REMAINDER OF THE INDIA TOUR
Left-arm spinner Jack Leach has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test series against India due to a knee injury sustained during the opening Test in Hyderabad.
He was absent for the second fixture in Vizag as well.
England has opted not to name a replacement for Leach.
According to a statement from the ECB, Leach will fly home from Abu Dhabi within the next 24 hours.
The England squad has been based in Abu Dhabi since the conclusion of the second Test in Vizag.
They will proceed to Rajkot without Leach for the third Test commencing on Thursday (February 15).
Leach will undergo rehabilitation in close collaboration with the England and Somerset medical teams.
