After Jaiswal’s remarkable innings of 209, India was bowled out for a total of 396.
Anderson claimed two wickets during the second day’s play.

India were 336/6 at the stumps of Day1, Jaiswal Innings was on 179 not out.

Today on the beginning of Day-2, India started their innings from 336/6 of their night score.

Jaiswal got to his double century & was caught out on 209 by Bairstow on the bowling of James Anderson.

Following Jaiswal’s outstanding innings of 209, India’s total reached 396 before being bowled out.

On the second day of play, Anderson secured two wickets and one yesterday and finally got 3 wickets, other England bowler’s namely Bashir picked up 3 wickets, Rehan Ahmed picked up 3 wickets.

The three England bowlers have shared three wickets among them. Root was only the bowler who did not picked up the wicket, Tom Hartley got 1 wicket.

Ashwin got only 15 runs from his night score on the second day morning of the 2nd test match, while Kuldeep added only 8 runs, Bumrah added 6 runs, Mukesh Kumar got out on a duck, so finally India bundled out on a score of 396 runs.

Jaiswal was only the Indian batter who added the remarkable innings of 209 runs in first inning, other Indian batters got less than 40 runs.
