Tanzid Hasan Hridoy has played a brilliant knock for Bangladesh team to secure a victory against Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe scored 124 in 20 overs, where as Bangladesh scored 126/2 in 15.2 overs.
So, finally Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets.
Zimbabwe faced a comprehensive defeat in the first match of the five-match T20I series at Chattogram.
Opting to bat first, Zimbabwe struggled at 41/7 with Taskin Ahmed and Saifuddin claiming three wickets each.
A resilient 75-run partnership for the eighth wicket between Clive Madande and Wellington Masakadza provided some resistance, but Zimbabwe’s total of 124 was insufficient to challenge Bangladesh.
Debutant Tanzid Hasan Hridoy shone in the chase with an unbeaten 67, guiding Bangladesh to victory with over four overs to spare.
