West Indies scored 92 in 31 overs, where as Sri Lanka scored 93/5 in 21.2 overs.

So, finally Sri Lanka beat West Indies by 5 wickets.

Kavisha Dilhari’s stellar bowling performance of 4 wickets for 20 runs, coupled with Vishmi Gunaratne’s impressive half-century (50), propelled Sri Lanka to a comfortable five-wicket victory at the Galle International Stadium, securing a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

Opting to bat first, West Indies struggled to find their footing and were dismissed for a mere 92 runs.

With Hayley Matthews absent from the contest, the West Indian batting lineup faltered, with only Rashada Williams (24) making a notable contribution.

Achini Kulasuriya and Chamari Athapaththu also contributed with two wickets each.

In reply, Sri Lanka faced early setbacks as Aaliyah Alleyne and Shamila Cornell struck early blows.

However, a crucial 58-run partnership between Dilhari and Gunaratne dashed West Indies’ hopes of setting a challenging target.

Although Karishma Ramharack managed to pick up two quick wickets, it wasn’t enough to derail Sri Lanka’s chase as they comfortably sealed the victory.
