Sri Lanka scored 275/6 in 50 overs, where as West Indies scored 115 in 34.5 overs.

So, finally Sri Lanka beat West Indies by 160 runs.

Sachini Nisansala starred with her maiden ODI five-wicket haul as Sri Lanka cruised to an emphatic 160-run victory over West Indies in Galle, completing a 3-0 whitewash.

This win propelled Sri Lanka to the fourth position on the ODI championship table.

Sri Lanka opted to bat first and posted a commanding total of 275 for 6, anchored by half-centuries from Chamari Athapaththu (91), Nilakshi De Silva (63), and Anushka Sanjeewani (55).

The innings was set up by a 93-run opening partnership between Athapaththu and Vishmi Gunaratne, followed by a 117-run stand between Sanjeewani and De Silva, resulting in the highest total of the series.

In the absence of Hayley Matthews, the West Indies batting struggled once again.

Apart from Chedean Nation’s contribution of 46 off 57 balls, which included seven boundaries, no other batsman made a significant impact.

Nisansala, the 22-year-old left-arm spinner playing only her third ODI after a two-year absence, excelled with figures of 5 for 28.

Her performance saw six West Indies batters dismissed for single-digit scores as they were bundled out for 115.
