Pacer Kemar Roach will miss West Indies’ upcoming tour of England due to an injury.

Cricket West Indies has named Jeremiah Louis as his replacement.

Cricket West Indies stated that Roach suffered a knee injury during the ongoing County Championship, which has forced him to miss the three Tests.

Roach had signed with Surrey for the season and had featured in six matches for the team.

“Kemar’s skill and experience in English conditions will be missed; however, this opportunity has been long in the making for Jeremiah Louis.

He certainly has the skill and experience to make an impact in England,” lead selector Desmond Haynes said in a media statement.

The uncapped 28-year-old Louis comes in with First Class experience of 57 matches spanning over ten years for St. Kitts and Nevis.
