TATA WPL 2024: Smriti Mandhana and Ellyse Perry has been secured victory for RCB in Bengaluru.

The RCB captain initiated a rapid start for her team at the Chinnaswamy.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 198/3 in 20 overs where as UP Warriorz scored 175/8 in 20 overs, so finally Royal Challengers Bangalore was won by 23 runs

Following two consecutive losses, RCB bounced back with a dominant batting display, securing a 23-run victory against UP Warriorz on Monday (March 4) in the final match of the Bengaluru leg of WPL 2024.

Smriti Mandhana’s explosive 80 off 50 balls, accompanied by Ellyse Perry’s aggressive 58 off 37 and Richa Ghosh’s brisk 21* off 10, powered RCB to a formidable total of 198/3.

Despite Alyssa Healy’s valiant 55 off 38, UP Warriorz fell short, posting 175/8.

New Opening Duo:

RCB opted for a new opening pair with Sabbhineni Meghana joining Mandhana.

The duo swiftly added 51 runs, setting a solid foundation.

Mandhana capitalized on missed chances to continue her onslaught, while Perry and Ghosh provided crucial support.

Death Overs Drama:

A late onslaught saw RCB amass 69 runs in the final five overs.

Mandhana and Perry led the charge, pummeling the UPW bowlers with boundaries and sixes.

Despite losing wickets, RCB finished strongly, posting the highest total of the season.

UPW began their chase aggressively, but wickets fell regularly as they reached 90/4 in 10 overs.
