TATA IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants has appointed Lance Klusener as an assistant coach.

Lance Klusener brings IPL coaching experience from Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.

Lucknow Super Giants have appointed Lance Klusener as their assistant coach for the upcoming season of IPL.

Klusener will be joining the backroom staff led by head coach Justin Langer.

This move comes as Klusener brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as the head coach for LSG’s SA20 side, Durban Super Giants, who reached the final in the recent season.

Furthermore, Klusener is no stranger to the IPL, having served in coaching roles with Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.

In addition, he notably led Guyana Amazon Warriors to victory in the 2023 CPL, marking a significant achievement in his coaching career.

Beyond the IPL and CPL, Klusener has also contributed his coaching expertise to teams in other leagues such as the Bangladesh Premier League with Rajshahi Kings and the Tamil Nadu Premier League with Lyca Kovai Kings.

On the international stage, Klusener has made his mark as well, having served as head coach for Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, and in various capacities with South Africa.

His diverse coaching background and proven track record make him a valuable addition to the coaching setup of Lucknow Super Giants as they prepare for the upcoming IPL season.
