Kolkata Knight Riders have made a notable addition by bringing in Afghanistan’s Allah Ghazanfar as a replacement for the injured Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
Ghazanfar, an offspinner, has already showcased his skills in two ODIs for Afghanistan.
In a similar move, Rajasthan Royals have enlisted left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj from South Africa as a replacement for the injured Prasidh Krishna, who recently underwent surgery on his left proximal quadriceps tendon, as stated in a media release from IPL.
Despite their injury setbacks, both KKR and RR have managed victories in their respective sole outings in IPL 2024.
KKR addressed their injury concerns by acquiring Phil Salt after Jason Roy’s withdrawal, while RR brought in Tanush Kotian to replace Adam Zampa.
