South Africa Women versus India Women, 2024

Bengaluru and Chennai have been selected to host the South Africa Women series.

Bengaluru will be the exclusive venue for all the white-ball games in the series.

During South Africa Women’s all-format tour of India, Bengaluru and Chennai will serve as the hosts, as confirmed by the BCCI on Tuesday (May 14).

The series will kick off with a warm-up game against a Board President’s XI side in Bengaluru on May 13, followed by three ODIs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 16, 19, and 24 respectively.

Subsequently, the action will move to the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where the two teams will engage in a one-off Test starting from June 28.

This will only be the third Test match between the sides, with the previous one held in Mysore almost 10 years ago.

Wrapping up the tour will be three T20Is on July 5, 7, and 9, serving as a prelude to the T20 World Cup scheduled to take place in Bangladesh later in the year.
