Indian player Kedar Jadhav has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket.

Former Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav has officially announced his retirement from all forms of cricket at the age of 39.

Jadhav revealed his decision through an Instagram post, captioning it with gratitude for the support throughout his career and declaring his retirement effective immediately.

Known for his versatile middle-order batting and unique round-arm off-spin bowling action, Jadhav debuted for India in ODIs against Sri Lanka in November 2014 and later in T20Is against Zimbabwe in July 2015.

Over his international career, he played 73 ODIs and 9 T20Is, notably contributing to India’s journey to the 2019 World Cup semifinals.

Jadhav initially gained prominence in the Indian Premier League (IPL), debuting for Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils) in 2010.

He later played for various franchises including Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His ODI career stats stand at 1389 runs at an average of 48.03 and a strike rate of 101.60, with two centuries and 27 wickets.

In T20Is, he scored 122 runs.

In the IPL, he amassed 1208 runs.

Before his international career, Jadhav was a key player for Maharashtra in domestic cricket, featuring in 87 first-class matches.

He scored 6100 runs at an average of 48.03, including 17 centuries and 23 fifties.

His standout season was in 2013-14, where he topped the Ranji Trophy run-charts with 1223 runs, helping Maharashtra reach the final.
