Bangladesh Women scored 119 in 20 overs, where as India Women scored 47/1 in 5.2 overs.

So, finally India Women won by 19 runs (DLS method).

A disciplined bowling performance, spearheaded by the spinners, and a quickfire 41 not out from just 24 deliveries by Dayalan Hemalatha propelled India to victory in a rain-affected match in Sylhet, as they surged to a 2-0 lead in the five-game T20I series.

Despite Murshida Khatun’s valiant 46, Bangladesh struggled to 119 after choosing to bat first.

Initially, Bangladesh made a promising start, surpassing 40 runs by the fifth over.

However, consistent wickets slowed their momentum, and by the end of the 11th over, they found themselves at 70/5, with Shreyanka Patil and Radha Yadav claiming two wickets each.

Following a rain delay of over 45 minutes, Bangladesh resumed their innings with no overs lost.

Khatun guided them past the 100-run mark in the 16th over before Deepti Sharma struck for the second time, finishing with figures of 2-14.

Radha Yadav also added another scalp in her final over, while two run-outs contributed to Bangladesh being bowled out.

They managed only 22 runs in the last five overs, losing five wickets in the process.

In response, Marufa Akter dismissed Shafali Verma for a duck in the opening over.

However, Hemalatha maintained a brisk scoring rate, smashing a six over midwicket off Sultana Khatun and finding boundaries against Marufa and Fariha Trisna.

She continued her onslaught with a six and a four off Nahida Akter, adding another boundary off Marufa in the sixth over before rain intervened once more.

With five overs completed, India held a commanding position, well ahead of the DLS calculations when play was halted.

Eventually, rain forced an early end to the match, with India clinching a 19-run victory via the DLS method, extending their lead in the series.
