Shoaib Bashir swung the momentum in England’s favor in Ranchi, claiming three key wickets post-lunch on day two.
While Yashasvi Jaiswal fought with a half-century, Bashir dismissed Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, and Ravindra Jadeja.
Gill attacked early, driving Bashir through covers and targeting James Anderson for boundaries.
Jaiswal then hit Bashir for a six.
