Ireland unveils squad selections for upcoming Afghanistan series

Ireland has revealed their squads for the forthcoming multi-format series against Afghanistan in the UAE.

Commencing from February 28, the tour features a solitary Test match followed by three ODIs and three T20Is.

Andrew Balbirnie maintains leadership of the red-ball team, while Paul Stirling captains the limited-overs sides.

Notably, the Test squad includes four uncapped players: Matthew Foster, Barry McCarthy, Theo van Woerkom, and Craig Young.

Among them, Foster is the sole newcomer in the white-ball squad as well.
