Bangladesh team is going to play five-match T20I Series against Zimbabwe in the month of May

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, aiming to aid the Bangla Tigers in their preparations for the impending T20 World Cup, scheduled from June 1 to 29 in the West Indies and USA.
Set to commence in May, Zimbabwe is slated to arrive in Bangladesh on April 28, with the first encounter scheduled for May 3.
The series’ second and third matches are scheduled for May 5 and 7, all set to unfold in Chattogram.
The action will then shift to Mirpur for the final two T20Is on May 10 and 12.
The series’ timing will see the first two matches starting at 6 PM local time, followed by the third game at 3 PM.
The fourth match is slated for a 6 PM start, while the fifth and final clash will kick off at 10 AM.

After the showdown with Zimbabwe, Bangladesh will lock horns with the USA in a three-game T20I series in May, leading up to their T20 World Cup campaign.
Expecting to field a full-strength squad for both series, Bangladesh might miss the services of left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who is engaged with the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024.
In the T20 World Cup 2024, Bangladesh finds themselves in Group D, among a record 20 participating teams, divided into four groups of five each.
They are set to face off against 2014 winners Sri Lanka, South Africa, Netherlands, and Nepal in their group stage encounters.
Bangladesh will kick off their T20 World Cup journey on June 7 against Sri Lanka in Dallas.
