India is scheduled to face Pakistan on October 6 in Sylhet as part of the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup held in Bangladesh.
The tournament features two groups of five teams each.
Group A comprises Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and QF1, while Group B consists of South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and QF2.
The tournament kicks off on October 3, with England taking on South Africa in the afternoon match starting at 3:00 PM local time in Dhaka.
Hosts Bangladesh will play their first game on the same day and at the same venue in the evening match, beginning at 19:00, against the runners-up of the T20 World Cup Qualifiers, currently underway in Abu Dhabi.
Australia, the defending champions with a record six titles, play their opening game on October 4 in Sylhet, facing the Qualifiers’ winners in the afternoon match.
India’s debut match in the competition will be against New Zealand on the same day and at the same venue in the evening.
The tournament features a total of 10 teams, including two decided through the Qualifiers, with 23 matches scheduled in total.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
Sylhet will host the first semifinal on October 17, while Dhaka will host both the semifinal on October 18 and the final on October 20.
Reserve days are allocated for the semifinals and final.
Official warmup matches will take place from September 27 to October 1, with all practice games held at the BKSP ground.
