After a heavy loss to India in their opening fixture, Pakistan fought back with a significant NRR-boosting victory over Nepal by nine wickets.
Openers Muneeba Ali and Gull Feroza put together a century stand in a modest chase of 109, helping their side reach the target with 8.1 overs to spare.
What made the difference?
Pakistan’s bowling.
Not only did they deliver early wickets, but they also kept things tight in the middle overs against the inexperienced Nepal batters.
