Sri Lanka Women has recalled Sachini Nisansala for ODIs against West Indies Women
Sachini Nisansala, the 22-year-old left-arm spinning allrounder, has been recalled to the Sri Lankan squad for the three-match home One-Day International series against the West Indies, scheduled from June 15-21 in Hambantota.
She is the sole addition to the 16-player squad announced on Tuesday.
Sri Lanka have excluded veteran ‘keeper-batter Prasadani Weerakkody from the squad that toured South Africa.
Weerakkody played only one ODI in that series, scoring four runs in Potchefstroom.
Nisansala has featured in just one ODI, against Pakistan in Karachi last year, where she was dismissed for a duck and recorded bowling figures of 0 for 24 from her four-over spell.

With only five wins in 18 games of the ICC ODI Championship 2022-25 so far, Sri Lanka is placed eighth on the table.
Their next opponents, West Indies, aren’t much better, having won only six out of their 15 matches in the cycle, and are currently placed seventh.
