Smriti Mandhana and Renuka Singh has shined in dominant victory to give India a 1-0 lead

India Women scored 314/9 in 50 overs, where as West Indies Women scored 103 in 26.2 overs.
So, finally India Women beat West Indies Women by 211 runs.
Smriti Mandhana (91 off 102) continued her brilliant run, recording her fifth consecutive fifty-plus score in international cricket, while Renuka Singh (5-29) claimed her maiden ODI five-wicket haul as India defeated West Indies by 211 runs in the first game of the three-match series in Vadodara.
Smriti’s fluent knock spearheaded a dominant Indian total of 314, with contributions from all top six batters.
In response, West Indies’ chase faltered early as Renuka’s fiery spell had them reeling at 11/4 and 26/5, leading to a collapse that ended their innings in quick succession.
Earlier, India made the most of favorable batting conditions after being asked to bat.
Debutant Pratika Rawal (40 off 69) partnered with Smriti to put on a century stand, providing a solid foundation for India.
Although the scoring rate was slow initially, as the ball softened, India accelerated in the middle overs.
Smriti remained at her fluent best, while Harleen Deol (44 off 50) picked up the pace after a slow start.
Harmanpreet Kaur (34 off 23), Jemimah Rodrigues (31 off 19), and Richa Ghosh (26* off 13) played impactful cameos, pushing India well beyond 300.
West Indies struggled with their bowling and fielding in the latter stages of India’s innings, with Zaida James (5-45) being the standout bowler, though she conceded runs in the closing overs.
After setting a target of 315, India had firmly put the game beyond West Indies’ reach.
Renuka swiftly eliminated any hopes of a West Indies fightback with a sensational new-ball spell.
She dismissed Matthews and Qiana Joseph early, the latter being run out in a moment of alert fielding by the Indians.
Renuka then bowled Deandra Dottin out, leaving West Indies in deep trouble at 34/6.
Despite a brief resistance from Afy Fletcher (24* off 22) and Shermaine Campbell (21 off 39), West Indies were bowled out for just 103, handing India a resounding victory.
