88/1 by the Knight Riders marks the fourth highest Powerplay total in IPL history, trailing behind their own record of 105/0 against RCB in Bengaluru in 2017, which remains the highest in IPL history.

135/1 by the Knight Riders at the halfway mark stands as the third-highest team score in IPL history by the 10th over.

However, both higher scores at the end of the 10th over came in the SRH-MI encounter last week, with SRH scoring 148/2 and MI replying with 141/2.

The Knight Riders took 15.2 overs to reach 200, marking the third quickest entry to 200 runs by a team in IPL history.

The fastest entries were made by RCB in 14.1 overs against Punjab Kings in 2016 and SRH in 14.4 overs last week.

In terms of boundaries, the Knight Riders’ innings saw 40 boundaries – 22 fours and 18 sixes, making it the third-highest by a team in an IPL innings.

This surpasses their previous record of 17 maximums each against CSK in Chennai in 2018 and Punjab Kings in Kolkata in 2019.

Sunil Narine’s score of 85 is his highest in T20 cricket, surpassing his previous best of 79 for Trinbago Knight Riders against Barbados Royals in CPL 2017.

Additionally, it exceeds his previous highest IPL score of 75 against Punjab Kings in Indore in IPL 2018, during which the Knight Riders posted their previous highest total of 245/6.

At the age of 18 years and 303 days, Angkrish Raghuvanshi became the youngest player to score a half-century or more on his IPL debut innings.

This surpasses the previous record held by Shreevats Goswami, who achieved the feat for RCB against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2008.

Raghuvanshi’s 25-ball fifty also makes it the second quickest by any player on their IPL debut innings, only behind James Hopes’ 24-ball effort for Punjab Kings against CSK in Mohali in IPL 2008.

The Knight Riders’ victory margin of 106 runs is the ninth largest in IPL history in terms of runs and the second largest for them, following their 140-run victory against RCB in the first-ever match of IPL in 2008.
