The Proteas men’s international season commences on November 27 with a Test series against Sri Lanka, concluding with the New Year Test against Pakistan starting on January 3, 2024.
While Sri Lanka’s visit includes only two Test matches, Pakistan’s tour encompasses a multi-format itinerary featuring two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
On the women’s side, South Africa will host England for a multi-format series comprising three T20Is, three ODIs, and a one-off Test match.
Before the international fixtures kick off, South Africa men’s ‘A’ team will host Sri Lanka ‘A’ for three ODIs and two four-day games in August.
CSA chief Pholetsi Moseki remarked, “As we welcome esteemed cricketing nations like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and England, we not only showcase the talent and competitiveness of South African cricket but also celebrate the global appeal and camaraderie inherent in our beloved sport.
