At The Lunch of Day-4:
South Africa scored 191 (1st Innings) & 366/5d (2nd Innings), where as Sri Lanka scored 42 (1st Innings) & 220/6 (2nd Innings).
South Africa lead by 296 runs.
Sri Lanka navigated through some challenging overs from Kagiso Rabada on the fourth morning, reaching Lunch at 220/6, having added 117 runs for the loss of just one wicket.
Keshav Maharaj was the only bowler to break through in the session, dismissing Dhananjaya de Silva, who was caught at midwicket.
Rabada, however, was the standout performer, troubling the batsmen with his variations.
His first over saw the ball jump unpredictably and also stay low, while he consistently kept the batters on edge.
Unfortunately for him, there was no wicket to show for his efforts.
De Silva and Dinesh Chandimal, unbeaten on 69, started the day with solid defence, playing the misbehaving ball carefully.
The pair put together a fifty-run partnership by the 15th over of the day, with both reaching their fifties soon after, looking set for more runs.
De Silva even struck a six off Maharaj, who bowled tightly but was unable to break through despite beating the bat multiple times and delivering a couple of maiden overs.
Sri Lanka managed to weather the storm, keeping the home team at bay for the most part.
