Sri Lankan player Wanindu Hasaranga has returned for the ODIs against New Zealand

Sri Lanka’s leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has been named in the ODI squad for the upcoming tour of New Zealand, where the teams will play three ODIs and three T20Is.
Hasaranga missed Sri Lanka’s previous ODI series against New Zealand in November due to a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Dunith Wellalage, who was excluded from the T20I squad for the tour, has retained his spot in the 50-over squad.

Fast bowler Lahiru Kumara returns to the squad after last playing in March during the series in Bangladesh.

The tour will begin with T20Is on December 28, followed by three ODIs on January 5, 8, and 11.
