Day-2 Afternoon Session Highlights:
England seamers has dismantled the batting lineup of Sri Lanka team

At The Tea of Day-2:
England scored 427 (1st Innings), where as Sri Lanka scored 129/7 (1st Innings).
On the second day of the Lord’s Test between England and Sri Lanka, the match’s pace quickened as the hosts tightened their grip in the post-lunch session.
Matthew Potts (2-12) was the standout bowler, delivering two crucial blows just when Sri Lanka appeared to be stabilizing through the experienced pair of Angelo Mathews (22) and Dinesh Chandimal (23).
Potts unleashed a superb delivery that seamed away late to bowl Mathews, and in the same over, he dismissed skipper Dhananjaya de Silva, leaving Sri Lanka reeling.
The man of the moment, Gus Atkinson, then struck a decisive blow by removing Chandimal two overs later, causing Sri Lanka to collapse from 83/3 to 87/6 in a flash.
Kamindu Mendis (26*) has been the bright spot for the visitors, displaying a balanced mix of caution and aggression at the crease.
Milan Rathnayake played a brisk 14-ball 19, featuring four boundaries, but couldn’t replicate his first-innings heroics from Manchester, falling to Woakes just before the Tea break.
With Mendis once again left to navigate the innings with the tail, Sri Lanka’s hopes of salvaging the situation rest on the southpaw.
The final session will be intriguing to watch, particularly to see if England opts for the follow-on if they get the chance.
