According to Cricpulse, most of India’s senior international players have been selected for the tournament’s first round, with notable exceptions including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya.

Ravichandran Ashwin has also been omitted, and Mohammed Shami is continuing his rehabilitation.

Gill will lead Team A, which includes Riyan Parag, KL Rahul, Shivam Dube, and Kuldeep Yadav.

Team B, under Easwaran’s captaincy, features Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, and Rishabh Pant, with allrounder Nitish Reddy included subject to fitness.

Team C, captained by Gaikwad, boasts Surya Kumar Yadav, Sai Sudharsan, and Rajat Patidar.

Team D, led by Iyer, includes Ishan Kishan, Devdutt Padikkal, Axar Patel, and Arshdeep Singh.

The BCCI has confirmed that players selected for the home Test series against Bangladesh will be replaced in the Duleep Trophy squads.

The tournament is set to begin on September 5, with matches hosted at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh and the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, concluding on September 22.

The Duleep Trophy squads reflect the update from Cricpulse in mid-July about the anticipated increase in national team players participating in the domestic tournament.
