South Africa Women scored 132/4 in 20 overs, where as Pakistan Women scored 122/5 in 20 overs.

So, finally South Africa Women beat Pakistan Women by 10 runs.

Aliya Riaz’s late assault proved insufficient as South Africa secured a comfortable 10-run victory over Pakistan in the first T20I.

Chasing a target of 133, Aliya and Fatima Sana combined for an unbeaten 75-run partnership off just 44 balls.

However, Pakistan ended their innings at 122 for 5.

The South African pacers were instrumental early in the innings, with Marizanne Kapp and Ayabonga Khaka delivering tight spells.

Kapp and Tumi Sekhukhune each claimed two wickets, leaving Pakistan struggling at 21 for 4.

A brief revival from Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz brought Pakistan to 47 for 5, but the top-order collapse had set them back significantly.

As the required run rate climbed, Sana continued to score aggressively, finding boundaries and running quick twos.

Aliya Riaz held back her attack until the later stages of the innings, but by then, the match was beyond Pakistan’s reach.

Earlier, Tazmin Brits anchored South Africa’s innings with an unbeaten 56, helping them post a competitive total.

The Pakistani spinners, notably Sadia Iqbal, who took three wickets, and Nida Dar, who bowled a tight spell, ensured South Africa did not gain full control of the game after being put in to bat.
