2nd T20I
Rain has the final say after another dominant performance by South Africa

South Africa scored 177/6 in 20 overs vs India
Heavy showers prematurely ended the second T20I between India and South Africa in Chennai, forcing the game to a no result.
This left the three-match series at 1-0 in favor of the visitors, who now hold an unassailable lead.
South Africa once again showcased impressive batting after being put into bat by Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur.
The template mirrored the opening game, with all batters showing extreme intent from the start.
Laura Wolvaardt (22 off 12) provided a quick start before falling to Pooja Vastrakar, while Tazmin Brits (52 off 39) continued her stellar form with a crafty fifty.
Marizanne Kapp (22 off 12) and Anneke Bosch (40 off 32) were key contributors in the top order, putting immense pressure on India’s bowlers for the second consecutive game.
South Africa’s batters were aggressive and adept at rotating the strike, disrupting the opposition’s rhythm.
The Chennai pitch played well for batting, allowing shots through the line, though bowlers were rewarded for accuracy when attacking the stumps on a hard length.
The lower middle order added vital cameos, boosting South Africa past the 175-run mark.
Deepti Sharma (2-20) was the standout Indian bowler, but she received little support as runs continued to flow.
The last two overs yielded 31 runs, giving South Africa strong momentum heading into the innings break, but relentless rain prevented the game from resuming.
