3rd ODI
Temba Bavuma has been ruled out of the final ODI against Ireland

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma will miss the team’s final ODI against Ireland after sustaining a soft tissue injury to his left elbow.
The 34-year-old picked up the injury during the second ODI when he landed awkwardly on his elbow while diving to make his ground at the non-striker’s end.
As a result, he did not take the field during Ireland’s innings.
Despite the injury, Bavuma will travel with the rest of the squad from the UAE on Tuesday and consult a specialist.
He is now racing to recover in time for the Test series against Bangladesh, which begins on October 21.
Reeza Hendricks has been called up as his replacement and will join the squad in Abu Dhabi ahead of Monday’s game, where Rassie van der Dussen will step in as captain.
South Africa, who have already secured the series with a 2-0 lead, will also be without all-rounder Wiaan Mulder, who has returned home due to personal reasons.
