Pakistan scored 206/5 in 20 overs, where as South Africa scored 210/3 in 19.3 overs.

So, finally South Africa beat Pakistan by 7 wickets.

Riding on a blistering 63-ball 117 from Reeza Hendricks, South Africa secured the three-match T20I series against Pakistan with one game to spare.

Pakistan had set a challenging target of over 200, but Hendricks and his teammates made light work of the chase, despite facing a strong bowling attack.

South Africa lost two wickets early in the PowerPlay, with Ryan Rickelton and Matthew Breetzke both falling to Jahandad Khan.

However, Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen took control, putting together a commanding 157-run partnership for the third wicket.

Hendricks was the dominant force in this stand, bringing up his maiden T20I century in the process.

For Pakistan, only Abrar Ahmed kept things relatively tight, conceding just 29 runs in his full quota of overs.

By the time Hendricks was dismissed by Abbas Afridi in the 18th over, South Africa were well on their way to victory.

Van der Dussen’s unbeaten 66 ensured they crossed the finish line without any further drama.

Earlier, Pakistan had relied on a solid knock from their young opener Saim Ayub to post a competitive total.

After the early dismissal of Mohammad Rizwan, Ayub built an 87-run stand with Babar Azam for the second wicket.

Pakistan faltered in the middle overs, losing three wickets in quick succession, but Ayub held firm, guiding the team to a strong finish.

Cameos from Irfan Khan and Abbas Afridi bolstered Pakistan’s total, but it ultimately wasn’t enough.
