The Black Caps will host England, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan in the home summer of 2024-25, New Zealand Cricket confirmed on Wednesday (July 17).
The confirmed itinerary includes three Tests, six ODIs, and eight T20Is for the men’s team during the home season.
The summer will commence on November 28 in Christchurch with the first of three Tests against England.
This series, which also includes matches in Wellington and Hamilton, will conclude a nine-game stretch in the longest format for the Black Caps, who will enter this assignment following away Tests against Afghanistan (1), Sri Lanka (2), and India (3).
Following the England series, New Zealand will welcome Sri Lanka for a series comprising three T20Is and three ODIs before traveling to Pakistan for an ODI tri-series, also featuring South Africa, in preparation for the Champions Trophy, scheduled to begin on February 19.
After returning from this marquee ICC event, New Zealand will host Pakistan in a late-summer series featuring five T20Is and three ODIs, running until April 3.
This assignment is likely to overlap with the yet-to-be-announced schedule of IPL 2025.
