Netherlands scored 207 all out in 49.1 overs, where as USA scored 179 all out in 45.5 overs.
So, finally Netherlands beat USA by 27 runs.
The Netherlands triumphed over the USA twice in two weeks with a similar script.
Once again, the USA batters struggled against a relentless fast bowling attack that disrupted their straightforward chase.
In their defense of a modest total of 206, the Dutch found a new hero in fast bowler Kyle Klein.
The 23-year-old’s incisive new-ball spell severely restricted the USA, who should have had a straightforward chase given their batting depth.
Klein ended with figures of 4 for 32, earning his first Player of the Match award in their 27-run victory.
Despite a stellar 66 from USA captain Monank Patel, the rest of the team faltered, with the Dutch having already dismissed half the side with more than 100 runs still required.
Vivian Kingma gave the USA an unfortunate start, dismissing Steven Taylor, who fell to an inside edge after an ill-judged shot.
Taylor’s duck marked his second of the tournament and extended his ODI duck streak.
Smit Patel, who had been in good form with recent half-centuries, struggled and was dismissed by Klein with an in-dipper.
Klein then dismissed Aaron Jones in the same over, leaving the USA reeling at 39 for 3.
Milind Kumar, unable to replicate his previous heroics, was dismissed by Paul van Meekeren.
Monank Patel provided some resistance amidst the collapse, batting with confidence on a challenging pitch.
His technique allowed him to navigate the good balls and capitalize on the loose deliveries, hitting five boundaries in the Power Play.
A steady partnership with Shayan Jahangir saw Patel bring up his half-century and hit Aryan Dutt for a six.
However, a mindless run-out of Jahangir and Patel’s dismissal left the lower order with an uphill task.
Harmeet Singh briefly flayed the Dutch with a couple of sixes, but his dismissal by Van Meekeren effectively ended the USA’s resistance.
Klein returned to wrap up the tail, finishing with a full and straight delivery.
The modest target of 207 was set up by the USA bowlers who had been effective throughout the series, contrasting sharply with their batting woes.
USA began with Nosthush Kenjige’s left-arm spin, but he was soon removed after Michael Levitt struck him for a six.
Levitt’s aggressive batting contrasted with Max O’Dowd’s determined innings.
Levitt’s form continued with five more boundaries before he was dismissed by Abhishek Paradkar.
A mini-collapse followed with Vikramjit Malik’s dismissal, and Steven Taylor’s quick ball took out Musa Ahmed.
O’Dowd’s vigil continued, reaching a half-century off 103 balls, but Noah Croes’s aggressive approach was needed to accelerate.
Croes hit a quick 27 before falling to Harmeet Singh, who also managed to induce a false stroke from Klein.
With four overs remaining and only 198 runs on the board, O’Dowd couldn’t provide the finishing touch.
The Netherlands lost their final four wickets for just eight runs, with Shadley Van Shalkwyk and Kenjige each claiming two.
O’Dowd’s 77 off 126 deliveries proved crucial as the Netherlands secured their fourth consecutive win in the tri-series.
