Australia scored 298/6 in 50 overs, where as India scored 215 in 45.1 overs.

So, finally Australia beat India by 83 runs.

Annabel Sutherland’s sparkling century and Ashleigh Gardner’s all-round performance guided Australia to a commanding 83-run victory over India in the final ODI of the series, completing a clean sweep.

Sutherland’s 110 was the standout performance of the match, particularly as Australia had struggled, slipping from 58/0 to 78/4.

Half-centuries from Ashleigh Gardner (50) and Tahlia McGrath (56*) provided solid support, with Gardner later proving her worth with the ball, taking key wickets with her off-spin.

Smriti Mandhana’s brilliant 105 in India’s chase was the highlight for the visitors, but she found little support from her teammates.

Arundhati Reddy’s impressive 4-26 was the lone standout in India’s bowling attack, as the others struggled on a Perth surface that favored fast bowlers.

India’s decision to bowl first backfired due to erratic new-ball bowling, with Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll giving Australia a strong start.

However, once Arundhati was introduced, India gained control, dismissing both openers and Ellyse Perry quickly, followed by Beth Mooney.

Despite this, Sutherland and Gardner rebuilt the innings with steady partnership, shifting gears as the innings progressed.

Sutherland, in particular, looked in excellent form, striking the ball cleanly and hitting boundaries, while Gardner, though more subdued, played a crucial role in stabilizing the innings.

After Gardner’s dismissal, McGrath took charge, helping Sutherland push Australia to a total nearing 300, a challenging score given the favorable batting conditions.

In reply, Mandhana played an exceptional knock, combining finesse and power to score 105 off 109 balls.

Her partnership with Harleen Deol (39) produced a century stand, with Mandhana carrying the bulk of the load.

However, once that partnership was broken, India’s chase faltered.

Jemimah Rodrigues started brightly but couldn’t maintain momentum, and Gardner’s spin created further pressure, eventually accounting for Mandhana’s soft dismissal.

India’s batting collapse followed, with Australia’s clinical performance sealing the series.

The only setback for Australia was an injury to Voll, who was forced to leave the field after being hurt.
