Zimbabwe have named Antum Naqvi in a young T20I squad to face India, but the inclusion of the 25-year-old batter is subject to his confirmation as a Zimbabwean citizen.
Tendai Chatara, Brandon Mavuta, and Wessly Madhevere are among those returning to the 17-man squad led by Sikandar Raza, while Ryan Burl, Joylord Gumbie, and Ainsley Ndlovu have been omitted.
Craig Ervine and Sean Williams were not considered for selection, according to Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC).

In January this year, he notched up 300* in first-class cricket, becoming the first batter ever to record a triple-century for any Zimbabwean team.
Also returning to the squad are Dion Myers, Innocent Kaia, and Milton Shumba.
Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, Johnathan Campbell, Wellington Masakadza, Tadiwanashe Marumani, and Faraz Akram have been retained from the squad that took on Bangladesh in the T20I series in April.
This will be the first assignment for newly-appointed head coach Justin Sammons, who took over from Dave Houghton following Zimbabwe’s failure to qualify for the T20 World Cup.
The five-match series will be played in Harare and kicks off on July 6.
