India is set to tour South Africa for a short T20I series in the month of November

India will embark on a short four-match T20I series in South Africa in November 2024, announced jointly by Cricket South Africa and BCCI.
This marks the Indian men’s team’s second consecutive year touring South Africa after engaging in all three formats during 2023-24.
The series will commence with the first T20I at Kingsmead, Durban on November 8.
Subsequently, the teams will travel to Gqeberha for the second encounter on November 10, followed by matches in Centurion (November 13) and Johannesburg (November 15) to conclude the series.
Last year’s T20I leg ended with a 1-1 scoreline after the game in Durban was washed out by rain.
India’s brief tour is squeezed between their home Tests against New Zealand and their forthcoming Border-Gavaskar series tour to Australia.
CSA Chairperson Lawson Naidoo expressed gratitude to the BCCI for their steadfast support of South African cricket and world cricket at large.
“The camaraderie and exciting cricket displayed during any Indian cricket team tour to our shores are unparalleled, and I am certain our fans eagerly anticipate this series, showcasing extraordinary talent from both sides,” remarked Naidoo.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah highlighted the deep bond between India and South Africa, emphasizing the mutual admiration between fans of both nations for each other’s cricket teams.
“I am confident that this upcoming series will once again demonstrate on-field cricketing excellence, delivering thrilling and high-intensity contests,” stated Shah.
