USA scored 275/8 in 50 overs, where as Canada scored 225 all out in 47 overs.

So, finally USA beat Canada by 50 runs.

USA extended their dominance over arch-rivals Canada with a comprehensive 50-run victory, marking their second consecutive win.

Just as they did in the previous game, Canada opted to bowl first after winning the toss, but the decision once again failed to influence the outcome.

Smit Patel, continuing his fine form from last week’s match against Canada, led the charge with a classy 70 off 84 deliveries, featuring 11 boundaries.

After the lower order’s collapse against the Netherlands, USA’s middle order stepped up, with Aaron Jones contributing a brisk half-century and Milind Kumar adding a rapid 47 off 33 balls, propelling USA to a formidable 275—a challenging total at the associate level.

Canada’s fast bowlers struggled to make an impact during USA’s batting powerplay, and USA captain Monank Patel quickly introduced the left-arm spin of Nosthush Kenjige.

The move paid off, with Kenjige dismissing the dangerous Aaron Johnson for 10.

Three overs later, Jasdeep Singh’s disciplined bowling was rewarded when he bowled Dilpreet Bajwa with a thin inside edge.

Shadley Van Schalkwyk, criticized for his batting against the Netherlands, responded emphatically, taking two wickets in his second over to leave Canada reeling at 44 for 4, as captain Nicholas Kirton and Harsh Thaker were sent packing.

Pargat Singh and Shreyas Movva attempted to rebuild after Canada’s early collapse, but the flurry of wickets slowed their progress, as they added just 23 runs in the next 8 overs.

Pargat, who had to temper his aggression after the early setbacks, reignited Canada’s hopes with a couple of boundaries off Kenjige.

His acceleration also spurred Movva, who, after a slow start, punished Yasir Mohammad for a short delivery to the square leg fence.

Pargat continued his onslaught, bringing up a well-compiled half-century off 63 balls.

However, his aggressive approach ultimately led to his downfall, as Mohammad had him caught at deep cover.

The 106-run partnership gave Canada a glimmer of hope, but after Pargat’s dismissal, the required 124 runs off 95 balls proved too steep.

Movva struck some powerful blows to reach his second half-century of the tournament, but with minimal support from the other end, he eventually succumbed to the pressure, skying a catch to long-on off Harmeet Singh.

Harmeet then dismissed the big-hitting Dilon Heyliger, signaling the end of Canada’s chase.

Shadley returned to clean up the tail, finishing with impressive figures of 4 for 20 in 8 overs.

USA’s victory was set up by a strong team effort, beginning with a dominant batting performance.

Openers Steven Taylor and Smit Patel put together a 125-run stand, demoralizing the Canadian attack.

While Taylor played a steady knock of 46 off 77 balls after a series of low scores, Smit was in sublime form from the start, driving Heyliger to the fence off the first ball he faced.

He continued to torment the offside field, consistently piercing the gaps with precision drives.

By the end of the powerplay, Smit had already hit six boundaries.

Smit kept up the pressure, showcasing a full range of strokes, including some delicate touches to exploit the infield.

Saad Bin Zafar eventually broke the opening stand, dismissing Taylor with an inside edge to the keeper.

Zafar struck again in his next over, trapping Smit with a straight delivery as he attempted a sweep.

With Monank Patel yet to find his rhythm, Aaron Jones took charge, starting aggressively with a slash to the point boundary off Joshi, followed by a six over cow corner off Thaker.

Monank eventually fell for 26, bowled by a sharp-turning delivery that clipped his stumps.

Fresh off his maiden international half-century against the Netherlands, Milind Kumar continued his fine form.

He and Jones targeted the debutant Joshi, who struggled, conceding 77 runs without taking a wicket in his 10 overs.

Jones departed soon after reaching his 11th ODI half-century, surpassing Monank to become USA’s highest half-century scorer in the format.

Milind, just three runs short of another fifty, fell in the penultimate over, but his efforts, along with those of his teammates, ensured USA posted a formidable total, putting their previous batting failure firmly behind them.
