West Indies 44/0 in 5 overs (Evin Lewis 29*, Shai Hope 14*) vs England – match abandoned due to rain

Rain interrupted the fifth and final T20I between West Indies and England at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia, with only five overs of play possible before heavy rain forced a halt.

During those five overs, Shai Hope and Evin Lewis picked up where they left off in the fourth T20I, following their impressive 136-run opening stand.

The hosts had raced to 44/0 before the rain began, and play was eventually called off several hours later, with no further action possible.

England had already secured an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series, though West Indies claimed a consolation win in the fourth match.

However, the West Indies did win the preceding ODI series 2-1.

Looking ahead, England will play three Tests in New Zealand starting November 29, while the West Indies will continue their home season with two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is against Bangladesh, beginning November 22.
