Heather Knight has helped England Women team to secure a lead of 2-0 against New Zealand Women in the 2nd T20I of the series
England Women scored 149/7 in 20 overs, where as New Zealand Women scored 134/8 in 20 overs.
So, finally England Women beat New Zealand Women by 15 runs.
England Women secured victory by 15 runs in the second T20I, solidifying their commanding 2-0 series lead.
Facing a shaky start after being sent in to bat, England found themselves at 77/6 before captain Heather Knight’s remarkable innings of 56* propelled them to a competitive total of 149-7 in Nelson.
Although New Zealand showed promise in their chase, reaching 100 for 3, a collapse triggered by the dismissal of Amelia Kerr (44) saw the hosts falter to 134/8.
Lauren Bell delivered an outstanding bowling performance, claiming 2 for 24, supported by the spinners who collectively picked up four crucial wickets.
For England Women team Heather Knight with 56 runs was the highest run scorer, where as in New Zealand Women team Amelia Kerr with 44 runs was the highest run scorer.
In England Women team except Heather Knight, all other batsmen secured less than 20 runs, where as in New Zealand Women team except Amelia Kerr, all other batsmen secured less than 20 runs.
