The second Test between Pakistan and England has been relocated to Multan
There has been a slight change in the schedule for England’s tour of Pakistan, now set for October 7 to 28.
The revision affects the second Test, which has been moved to Multan.
Originally slated to take place at the National Stadium in Karachi from October 15-19, it will now be held at the Multan Cricket Stadium on those same dates.
With this venue change, Multan will host two Tests, including the first Test starting on October 7.
The third Test remains scheduled in Rawalpindi from October 24 to 28.
This adjustment is necessary due to renovations at the Karachi stadium in preparation for next year’s ICC Champions Trophy, which will also take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi’s Cricket Stadium.
The England team is set to arrive in Multan on October 2, with the Pakistan team also gathering in the city on the same day.
“Despite these minor adjustments, we are committed to supporting fans and ensuring a memorable tour.
We look forward to a fiercely competitive Test series and showcasing Pakistan’s renowned hospitality,” said Usman Wahla, PCB Director – International.
“PCB is thrilled to welcome the England men’s cricket team back to Pakistan.”
