Trinbago Knight Riders have enlisted the services of England’s Jason Roy and Australia’s Tim David for the upcoming CPL 2024, the franchise announced alongside its retention list on Monday (June 10).
David, a familiar face in the CPL, previously represented the St Lucia Kings in the tournament.
On the other hand, Roy, who was set to play for the Knight Riders’ IPL franchise KKR in IPL 2024, opted out before the season commenced.
In addition to Roy and David, TKR has also inked deals with Afghanistan spinner Waqar Salamkheil and Ireland left-arm seamer Josh Little.
Furthermore, USA international Ali Khan is set to make a comeback to the franchise for another season.
The core of domestic talent that propelled TKR to the 2023 finale remains intact.
Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, and Nicholas Pooran are among the players returning to represent the Trinidad franchise.
With 15 confirmed players, TKR will finalize the roster with two more selections during the draft in July.
