Zimbabwe has called up Tadiwanashe Marumani and Faraz Akram for the forthcoming five-match T20I series in Bangladesh.
Sikandar Raza will continue to lead the 15-member squad, which also includes the uncapped player Johnathan Campbell, son of former captain Alistair Campbell.
The remainder of the squad remains unchanged from the one that toured Sri Lanka in January, where they managed to level the series with a win before losing the deciding match.
Campbell played a pivotal role in the Zimbabwe Emerging Players squad, securing a gold medal in the African Games last month, earning him this call-up.
Clive Madande and Brian Bennett, who were part of the Emerging Players squad, have also retained their positions in the senior team.
Stuart Matsikenyeri, a former player, will oversee Zimbabwe for this series in the absence of a head coach.
The series is set to commence on May 3, with the first three matches slated for Chattogram, while the final two will take place in Dhaka.
This series provides crucial preparation for Bangladesh ahead of the T20 World Cup in June, although Zimbabwe’s absence from the global event is noted.
