Bangladesh scored 189/7 in 20 overs, where as West Indies scored 109 in 16.4 overs.

So, finally Bangladesh beat West Indies by 80 runs.

In a record-breaking performance in Kingstown, Bangladesh completed a historic 3-0 sweep of the West Indies with a commanding 80-run victory, thanks to Jaker Ali’s brilliant 72* and a clinical bowling effort.

Jaker’s 41-ball knock, built on the rapid start from the top-order, powered Bangladesh to their highest-ever T20I total in the West Indies—189/7.

The bowlers then put on a dominant display, skittling the hosts for just 109 inside 17 overs, marking Bangladesh’s biggest-ever win by 80 runs.

Leading 2-0 in the series, Bangladesh opted to bat first and was off to a solid start with a brisk 44-run opening partnership, largely driven by Parvez Hossain Emon (39 off 21).

After losing both openers quickly by the end of the PowerPlay, Bangladesh had a strong base of 54/2.

Tanzid Hasan couldn’t capitalize, but Jaker took charge, forming a key 37-run partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz at 65/3.

Roston Chase provided a timely breakthrough, triggering a mini-collapse, with Shamim Hossain and Mahedi Hasan both run out in the space of three balls.

In a brief moment of confusion, Jaker, who was initially dismissed after the first run-out, was recalled after the replays.

With Bangladesh slipping to 114/6 in the 15th over, Jaker shifted gears, partnering with Tanzin Hasan Sakib for a 50-run stand that propelled the side to a strong finish.

At the time of his recall, Jaker was on 17 off 16 balls but exploded thereafter, scoring 55 runs in just 25 balls.

Alzarri Joseph bore the brunt of Jaker’s assault, conceding 12 and 25 runs in his final two overs, with Jaker smashing four sixes and two boundaries off the pacer.

With a defendable total on the board, Bangladesh’s bowlers came out with intent, having previously defended totals of 147 and 129.

Taskin Ahmed made an early impact, trapping Brandon King LBW in the opening over of the chase.

Despite some fireworks from Nicholas Pooran, the hosts managed only 45 in the powerplay and lost two more wickets in the process, with Mahedi Hasan dismissing Pooran again, completing a series-wide hat-trick of Pooran’s wickets.

Romario Shepherd was the only West Indies batter to offer any resistance, but the asking rate quickly became unmanageable.

Bangladesh’s bowlers maintained the pressure, with all five bowlers taking at least one wicket.

Rishad Hossain was the standout, finishing with figures of 3 for 21 from his four overs, as Bangladesh sealed their first-ever T20I series sweep against the West Indies.
