Bangladesh scored 129/7 in 20 overs, where as West Indies scored 102 in 18.3 overs.

So, finally Bangladesh beat West Indies by 27 runs.

A clinical bowling performance from Bangladesh saw them win the second T20I against the West Indies and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Tasked with defending a modest total of 130, all Bangladesh bowlers except Mehidy Hasan Miraz were among the wickets as they bowled out the hosts for just 103, securing a 27-run victory.

The West Indies’ top order once again crumbled cheaply, leaving them reeling at 42 for 6, continuing a worrying trend of early collapses, having been reduced to 62 for 7 in the first T20I as well.

West Indies came out aggressively in pursuit of the target, racing to 19 without loss in the first two overs, with Johnson Charles hitting Mahedi Hasan for a six and a four.

However, a key bowling change saw Taskin Ahmed strike immediately, removing Brandon King and Andre Fletcher in the same over.

Charles was dismissed in the following over by Mahedi, given out LBW in a close call that was umpire’s call on hitting the stumps.

Mahedi followed up with a wicket-maiden in his third over, dismissing Nicholas Pooran, who edged one to slip.

Rovman Powell and Romario Shepherd also failed to mount a recovery, with Powell falling to a leading edge, caught safely by Mehidy at point, and Shepherd being caught in the slip off a rushed pull shot.

Roston Chase and Akeal Hosein briefly revived the West Indies’ hopes, putting on a 47-run partnership, during which Chase smashed Hasan Mahmud for a 16-run over.

However, just as the hosts began to gain momentum, Rishad Hossain struck the decisive blow, cleaning up Chase before Gudakesh Motie was dismissed in the very next delivery, caught at long-on.

Taskin Ahmed and Tanzim Hasan then took the final two wickets to seal the series victory.

Earlier, Bangladesh’s innings saw Litton Das’ poor form continue as he was stumped by Andre Fletcher off Akeal Hosein.

Roston Chase and Akeal formed an effective spin partnership, with Chase’s wicket of Litton and Tanzid Hasan’s dismissal, leaving Bangladesh at 48 for 3.

Mehidy launched a counter-attack, hitting two fours and a six, before falling to a pull shot caught at deep backward square leg.

Jaker Ali contributed 21 off 20 balls on a challenging pitch, while Rishad Hossain and Mahedi Hasan found crucial boundaries.

Bangladesh was 80 for 6 at the 15-over mark.

Shamim Hossain, continuing his fine form from the first T20I, struck two sixes and two fours in a quickfire 17-ball 35.

Bangladesh scored 26 runs in the final two overs, finishing their innings at 129 for 7.
