The Rain has interrupted the start of the second Test

The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh had a disappointing start as the entire opening day was washed out due to rain in Rawalpindi.
Heavy rain overnight had initially delayed the start of play, leaving puddles of water on the ground and making it unfit for cricket.
Conditions worsened when rain returned, further dampening the ground.
When the rain briefly paused, the umpires conducted an inspection, but the first session was still lost.
As rain resumed, the entire day’s play was eventually called off.
The first Test, also held in Rawalpindi, saw its opening day disrupted by rain, which delayed play for over half the day.
Despite this, Bangladesh went on to win the Test, causing a major upset in Pakistani cricket.
The second Test was relocated to Rawalpindi from Karachi due to ongoing stadium renovations in Karachi.
Bangladesh leads the two-Test series 1-0, with crucial World Test Championship points at stake.
Bangladesh is currently 7th in the WTC standings, just ahead of Pakistan, who are in 8th place.
