2nd Test
Day-3 Highlights:
The wet outfield has lead to the abandonment of play for the second consecutive day

At The Stumps of Day-3:
Bangladesh scored 107/3 vs India.
Cricket action remained delayed in Kanpur as the third day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh was abandoned without a single ball bowled.
This marks the second consecutive day of no play, following a similar outcome on day two due to rain and a damp outfield.
While heavy rain was the primary issue on day two, ironically, no rain fell on day three, which saw brighter conditions with sunshine at various points.
Despite this, the outfield remained too damp, with persistent wet patches that didn’t dry up.
After several inspections, play was officially called off at 2 pm local time.
So far, only 35 overs have been bowled in the Test after three days, and a draw now seems inevitable.
The forecast for the first three days was always concerning, but such limited action was unexpected, even given the weather predictions.
The weather outlook for the final two days is more promising, but the fate of the match now rests on how quickly the outfield can recover to allow play to resume.
