Australia Women scored 290 in 49 overs, where as New Zealand Women scored 215 in 43.3 overs.

So, finally Australia Women beat New Zealand Women by 75 runs.

Annabel Sutherland backed up her century in the second ODI with a stellar all-round performance in the third, helping Australia secure a 2-0 series win over New Zealand in Wellington.

In addition to her 43-ball 42, Australia benefitted from key contributions with the bat, including Phoebe Litchfield’s solid 50 off 59 at the top and Ashleigh Gardner’s quick-fire 74 off 62 in the middle.

After a strong 88-run opening partnership, Australia slipped to 127/4, bringing Sutherland and Gardner together for a crucial fifth-wicket stand worth 63 runs.

Once Sutherland was dismissed in the 32nd over, Australia added just 100 more runs before losing the remainder of their lineup.

They posted a competitive total of 290, which New Zealand was unable to chase down.

Sutherland then made an early impact with the ball, removing Isabella Rose James to halt New Zealand’s fast start, before dismissing half-centurion Suzie Bates to further destabilize the hosts.

From there, New Zealand’s batters, despite getting starts, struggled against tight bowling, with Alana King claiming three middle-order wickets.

Sutherland then removed Isabella Gaze to leave New Zealand reeling at 196/7 in the 40th over.

New Zealand could only manage an additional 19 runs, folding for 215.
